I was very fortunate to have had a law enforcement career where I spent my last sixteen years as a canine handler and trainer. It was to me, the best job in the world! I got to play with dogs all day! Yes, it was a lot of hard work, many challenges too. However, it was so rewarding to watch my four legged partners succeed on our missions. They truly are our “BEST FRIENDS.”
Now that I have retired, I want to continue working with dogs. In October 2016 I adopted two puppies (brother and sister) from the Humane Society. It has been so much fun training them. I started IKE LOA CANINE to offer my canine training services to both the Private and Professional sectors.

PRIVATE TRAINING and CONSULTING SERVICES for PET DOGS
Currently, my training is on a “one on one” basis. Initially, I enjoy seeing your dog in a home type setting where everyone is comfortable. From there we can start to venture.
Group classes will eventually come around. It will likely involve more advanced training. Basic obedience and socialized dogs may be a prerequisite to attend a class.
Obedience
Basic obedience lays the foundation in developing a great relationship between you and your dog. With obedience, you’re helping your dog to understand what they should and should not do. At the same time, you’re enjoying their company while creating a better understanding towards that lifelong bond together!
Behavioral Refreshers
Like many of us, including me, we sort of get a little “lax” with our best friend. We let them do things that may create an issue down the road. So taking a step back to some basics, together we can all refresh our relationships.
Advanced Training
Dogs are capable of doing many things. Obedience is a great start. From there we can find out how much you and your dog can do together.
