PROFESSIONAL TRAINING AND CONSULTATION for WORKING DOGS
The last 20 years of my career in Law Enforcement, was spent in the S.W.A.T. Division as a tactical operator, canine handler and trainer.
Besides doing the SWAT stuff, adding a dog in the mix made the work even more rewarding. Learning to put a dog on odor (explosives/narcotics), searching for bad guys, missing persons, searching for evidence, tracking, scouting, controlled aggression, obedience, agility and decoy work made it the best job in the world!
We all know on the professional level of service dogs, maintenance training is an integral part of your program. Having the confidence in your handlers’ decision making and the canines’ abilities, will increase your chances of a successful unit.
Having an outside canine trainer can also offer you an impartial and positive perspective on your canine program.
